Alchemy Tattoo Collective

We are a woman-owned shop of friendly and welcoming artists trying to make beautiful art for our clients and ourselves. The process of alchemy is about transformation. We guide our clients through outer alchemy by creating the tattoo, and often times it is also experienced as a marker of inner alchemy. The images that stick with us the most come at different points in our histories, and the tattoo process is a way of collecting those stories in a very personal and permanent way. This is why so many people are inspired to get tattoos in the event of a losing a loved one. Wether it be an animal totem or a pop culture reference, the art tells a story of our lives and how we come to know ourselves. Even spur of the moment tattoos chosen “randomly” are works of our subconscious expression of self. We are drawn to images that resonate with us for reasons we often are not consciously aware of.
