Tattoo Consultation & Design Process at Alchemy Tattoo Collective

To schedule a tattoo consultation with one of our talented artists, visit our artist pages through the site menu or go directly to our booking calendar. During your consultation, bring your deposit along with any reference photos or ideas you'd like to discuss. Please note that deposits are non-refundable.

What to Expect During Your Consultation

On the day of your consultation, you'll meet with your chosen artist to discuss your ideas and review reference materials. You will also be given 1-3 tattoo appointments, which will be scheduled the same day to ensure that larger pieces have adequate time between sessions. This allows clients to avoid long waiting periods between appointments.

Design Process and Changes

Once you’ve agreed on a design, any changes made to the tattoo may result in a price adjustment. Design preparation is a time-intensive process, and we recommend avoiding significant changes after your appointment is confirmed.

In the 24 hours leading up to your first appointment, we will finalize your design. You will get to review your tattoo design on the day of your appointment. Depending on the complexity, the artist may need to finalize details with you in person, so please be prepared for some drawing time on the day of your first appointment if additional tweaks are necessary. Once you approve the design, we will begin tattooing.

Design Changes & Collaboration

If you’re not satisfied with the design, we can make adjustments. However, if the changes take longer than 30-45 minutes, your first appointment will become a collaborative drawing session, and tattooing will begin on your second scheduled appointment.

Please note that the tattoo design is considered the artist’s property. We do not approve designs via text or email. If you’re unhappy with your design, we will work with you to make the necessary changes until you’re fully satisfied.
